Synopsis
The new show will take place after the events of WandaVision and Agatha All Along, as white Vision explores his new purpose in life. When VisionQuest begins, Vision, rebooted and having escaped from those who sought to weaponize him, has been in hiding. Searching for new meaning, he consults the AI personas embedded in his programming, including F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., J.A.R.V.I.S., and the infamous Ultron. His discreet existence ends when a bounty placed on his head thrusts him on the run with Thomas Shepard, a mysterious boy who may be Vision's son, reincarnate. As Vision evades capture, he must confront his nature, resist Ultron's influence, and unravel the enigma that is his young companion if he's to survive.

Deadline (February 2025): After rumors started to spread of a potential Nova project from filmmaker Michael Waldron last week, sources now tell Deadline that the Chad Powers creator is developing a feature film around the comic at Marvel Studios. Insiders stress the project is still in early development but that Waldron is on board to pen the script with eye to directing the project if it moves forward. The studio had initially been developing the comic as a TV show with Sabir Pirzada penning the script but ultimately shelved that idea in 2025. Last week, the title came up again when Waldron's WGA card was leaked with the project being listed as a credit leading to the reveal that Waldron had been brought on to tackle a new pitch.

Deadline: A new Deadpool looks to be in the works at Marvel Studios, with franchise star Ryan Reynolds on board to return. The actor confirmed the news during an appearance over the weekend Fanatics Fest 2026. Sources say the film is currently in early development with no writer or director attached. "There's a few really deep cuts that I think are missing behind the movies. I think there's a few deep cuts missing from some of the comics. There's certainly some stuff that, you know, I love that Fabian Nicieza [co-creator of Deadpool] wrote that is incredible. Gerry Duggan, who was a friend, was an incredible comic writer," Reynolds said onstage during a panel at the New York event. "There's stuff upcoming. There's eventually, you know, remotely another Deadpool film. It's going to be great."

Deadline (February 2025): Marvel Television has paused development on three projects: Nova, Strange Academy and Terror, Inc. Strange Academy would have been an adaptation of the eponymous comic book series, created by Skottie Young and artist Humberto Ramos, which debuted in March 2020. Set in New Orleans, it centers on a school founded by Doctor Strange to educate young individuals with magical abilities. The show was expected to focus on Wong, portrayed by Benedict Wong, and his leadership of the school. Amy Rardin, who wrote on Echo, was working on the show.
